fyp is back to square one
everyone says yeah!
basically, we were thrown into the deep open sea, with almost no sea survival skills
struggle to stay afloat, and going to drown by drinking in too much sea water and eating seaweed
so our nice nice prof had to throw us a life buoy
and now, we are swimming back to the shore line, to where we started off
pls, let everything goes on fine now
at least let the objective and area of research settle down

all the other things are swarming over me as well
week 6 & 7 are going to be the killer week for me
first up, s’pore project due
and next time pls come prepared for discussion!
then 2 quizzies + 1 assignment had to be due on the same day
how great!~
now i’ve 2 discussions on monday, and tks for scraping away with the fyp meeting
if not, i need to learn 分身术

boy was telling me i can enjoy after 19th
ya riggggght only for the 2 days cos my first part of fyp due at the end of recess

therefore i decided i need something to help me relax
first, it would be by spending money
and then a mahjong session on sat!
tks girls, the session came in the nick of time

shall have no more complains after this
what needs to be done, has to be done
and it will be done!

yesh, i think depression has to set in once per sem
and isn’t it a bit too early this time round?

really, things are getting to a stage where it is suffocating
trying my best to get things done, to stay afloat
力不从心 is the right phrase here
time seems to slip by so quickly
as much as i want to do something, nothing gets done

and fyp tutor wants to meet us after seeing our schedule
lousy feeling
somehow things are not that bright afterall

mich & i were jus thinking abt it
wah, we have done soooooooo many term paper, big and small, in our 3 yrs at ntu
until we can’t rem what title or topic we done before
so let’s get some positive thinking here
since we have done countless number of term papers, what’s with 3 more this sem?

quite happy although we are still making turns at ground zero

seriously, it’s gg to cheaper if we take cab to everywhere
plus we can’t talk properly when he’s driving
so i would rather if i stick to public transport
although i tend to fall asleep and ignore him during long journeys
but for the past 2 weeks i didnt!! keeez

finally the weekend is here

tend to miss him most when i’m sick

guess what? i have new resolutions for this semester!
sounds super bo liao
but here goes:

- to read newspaper everyday (not just the life! section only… keez). just taken a new subscription for ST. hopefully i will feel less lost in both adv financial & s’pore seminar with this =S
- to exercise thrice a week. this totally needs discipline. only managed to do it for 2 weeks during attachement
- to keep up with my readings. if can’t achieve, something is wrong… since there are only 2 modules that have readings
- to be more appreciative and patient with boy. normally it’s the other way round…. working is hard too!
- to save money. london, here i come! lol~

i saw a pair of spec which i did like very much!
ehhh maybe cos boy says i look good in it
not too fierce / nerd / square in it
initially was ready to buy after muchX100 deliberation
but end up, if i upgrade all the specifications to one that i want, cost $250!!
idea abolished

anyway, new specs have to wait
till i find one which i like, and within my budget
have to live on bread and water on the next few months
need to tighten my belt
so pls, try not to tempt me with anything right now

update for the week

mon was fyp with do-your-fyp group
tried to read some books at NLB
but the more we read, the more confused we get
so we decided to adjourn and consulted our chim-chim prof on wed
went for dimsum at yumcha later on
SOMEBODY forgot to alight at outram and like lost sheep *haiz* haha
due to national day promo, buffet 4 for price of 3, so it was cheap!
the waitress kept piling food on our table… quite scary
we really ate ALOT! non-stop eating for total 2h there
plus one mango pudding and gui-ling-gao each person at the end
latter suppose to help to cool the heaty-ness of the food we ate haha
and after that i bought yang-zhi-gan-lv home! yummy!!

thurs was a loooooooong day in school
due to some stupid make-up lecture 8.30am and the next lesson at 3.30pm
slacked with yl and jl at access lab
listening to them fight over their fyp group name
go-gini-go vs ginicoeff vs ggg
damn hilarous argument anyway
can’t tahan anymore… heng mich came soon
went to shop @ sch bazaar
got a free union singlet (just as mich says she wanna buy a singlet… keez), free cleo mag from filling in some survey and ate the every-sem-must-eat yogurt icecream
then me and yl got stuck at the laptop sticker stall
super nice sticker for laptop!! so in love with the classic mickey mouse design!!!

cost a freaking $40 bucks (just went to their website… it cost US$39.95 if ordered online… haiz)
and the guy at the booth had to display this design with his laptop, which so happen to be same model as mine!!
stood there for very long… didn’t gave in to temptation though
lucky now not very ‘gian’ already keez

today went out with boy
watched ‘license to wed’
nice show! boy was laughing soooooooo loudly
but i kinda dont agree with the way that the female lead & the priest do things
hard to explain here cos don’t want to spoil the show for those who intends to watch
anyway, worth our $16! (uob discount at cathay… keez)
was still drizzling after the show
so we decided to do some ‘window’ shopping
supposedly… but i spent a total of $80+ dollars today
catch of the day today: mango white pullover @ $23! love it!

was preparing and reading up for tuition tmr
the different type of mkt competition
so i dug out my old old sloman book and read
when i bought it in jc, i never use it
probably cos’ there isnt any time

now, i have to admit…
it’s a really very good book!
easy to understand, lots of examples, answers most questions that will pop up
no wonder it is still the recommended text after so many years

anyway, the concepts are so easy
it is there in my mind, just chuck in some little corner and forgotten
told boy this
then he just laughed and say, of course it is easy to you now
haha! ya, thinking of it, if i dont find the jc stuff easy, this years of studying econs is totally wasted!

wished my uni stuff is as easy as this
i love simple stuff haha

i must mark today on a calender
special special special day!
he cooked for me!!

ok, i didn’t force him… did I?
i think he volunteered willingly keez
altho one simple meal, which was too salty by the way (haha), but effort!
somemore got accompanying dessert
just that he kinda ignore him during the cooking process
left me to watch tv
and he did the dishes as well! haha
