got the forensic science tb out from lib to do some ‘bedtime’ reading
turns out to be quite an interesting read!
that’s probably the only quiz/exam i wont mind sitting for
later gotta do the practice questions

signs of ‘ageing’ in uni

(1) i was reading the kgrp blog when one of my juniors tagged a msg ‘red light alert’. i was wondering what was it totally… clueless till someone else tagged again… then it dawned on me that red light = attached! oh man, i completely forgot about the traffic light game that we kinda like play during uoc… red, amber or green to represent ur love status. and answers can include purple (which means gay), or traffic light being spoil. crap. evidence of a generation gap.

(2) lots and lots of recruitment talks. i’ve been spending so much time going through the recruitment stuff… and slowly crossing out options on my potential employers’ list. but i have to praise ntu cao for doing quite a good job at organising so much talks, despite their sometimes slow efficiency. i am not too bothered about sending out resumes now… i need more time to sort out where exactly i want to end up at. and i think i’m getting a pretty good idea. mas is not gg to be one of them, so not gg to suffer through the stupid application form in exchange for a marina mandarin dinner (sorry christina for ‘pang seh’-ing!)

(3) when a 2-day week become 5-day week. this had happened thrice in a row!! am going to school everyday and spending my hours in access lab. and the heavy workload that comes with THREE subjects… i think i didnt suffer as much when i was taking five. week 7, pls come and go quickly!

(4) concerns about buying clothes and bags. the impulse to buy casual clothes and sling bags. i told myself not to buy anymore causal stuff cos there is only 1 yr left at uni… i should shop for office wear instead. it is hard to 忍not to buy. but good lah, save money.

crapped enough. going back to work.
aimed to finish my adv tut tonight! needs lots of luck… keez

ya long time no update
cos have been spending damn lot of time on 410 project
and that project is !*#@&#^@%$!@
i dunno is we suay kanna a difficult topic, or was that project meant to be a killer itself
first, none of the readings help (not much of a help at least)
and what does it meant by various publications from ADB?
that makes us practically read all the ministerial speeches…

plus we were still debating about the question on fri
with less than 4 days to submission
we are such a bunch of winners!
got different people to help us interpret the question
and that comes along with head-shakes!
wth… jus feel like scolding all the vulgarities that i know of!
feel like killing whoever set this irritating topic

and did i mention our grp is kinda cursed?
everyone is falling sick
probably due to the late nights we have been chalking up

anyway, we are already prepared to be shoot during ppt
for either a lousy paper, or tons of questions that we didnt manage to answer
and i can tell you, Singapore did nothing!!

okkk, let’s just get the damn x100 project out of the way
i wanted to blog about last weekend
but i just cant remember what happened!
ohhh ok, memory found… mahjong and COMEX!
we were happily ‘bullying’ hq at the mahjong session
i like! opps!~
then me and boy bought samsung laser printer from comex
going at a i-can’t-believe-price $98!!
and my hse is getting filled with lots of samsung stuff
we already have a samsung washing machine + 2 hp

dinner with joy, kel, shi, hq and es at imperial crusine
was told it was an good imitation of crystal jade xiaolongbao
the boss was an ex-employee there i think
the ramen was ok, altho crystal jade does it better
but i tell you, the xiaolongbao is delicious!!
two thumbs up!!
it definitely wins crystal jade, but i still prefer dingtaifung

haven spent anytime with another one this week
except for my sg grpmates and liz
i like barclay’s recruitment goodies
but deutsche reception is fantastic!
we were like a bunch of 搀嘴猫, going for the food rather than info
liz and mich love the smoked salmon, and i like the roasted beef
but i wont be applying to both places
it is not my style…. investment banking is out for me!

i received a couple of mails from CAO
and one talk really interest me
security and investigation unit at mindef!
sounds super cool lah… probably gg to find out more

gg to get some sleep now
though still feeling unsatisfied with my sg project
but seriously, there is nothing i can do about it
our reference list is already as long as it could get
tmr teaching tuition before ratatootee
tks boy for getting the free tix
and finally spending some time together
quite guilty that i neglect him totally during the week
minimal smses, a couple of 5mins phone calls and that’s it

2 more weeks to freedom!
