altho we didnt really argue or anything

i use eye power while he clean the windows
and………. i simply told him, i dont get it
why must clean?
i mean, ya of course must clean and pack, but isnt it like a weekly chore?
obviously, new year dont mean a thing to me hahaha
it’s just funny
that all the chinese festives dont interest me
apart from ‘dong zhi’, cos i think it sounds nice
i fancy western festives much more
oh well, it’s all because of the upbringing
in sunday times today, there was a report on “baby school”
you flash words at infants, and they will absorb the knowledge
i was telling my mum that why people bother about such things
as a baby, i think it’s best to let him/her to anything they want
eat, sleep, crawl, scream, cry
the learning can come later
it’s not as if there are no chances of learning later on
my mum told me that next time must bring my children to such school
so that they dont turn out to be dumb like me
fine~
i think i am smart then can le! hahahaha

caught the 2 major year-end blockbuster this week
one was extremely entertaining, the other extremely inspiring
nicholas cage
i love this kind of treasure seeking shows
a simple plot, with lots of action
but it is also the kind whereby you watch purely for entertainment sake
my favourite character was actually the assistant who was darn funny!
so devastating that no one wants to read his book haha
and mr president!
so i kinda can’t wait to see the next part of the sequel cos’ i reckon it’s gg to be about page 47 of the book of secrets
hmm i wonder if there really exist such a book hahaha
the will smith movie was so saddddd
i could cry buckets over it
ya, but of course i didnt hahaha
the dog is super x10 cute!
he is like the only other sane living thing
and it is so sad that will smith has to resort to talking to mannequins cos there is no one around
but i guess the message was that you just have to believe in hope
ya, that would be the only thing that keeps you going
the next one that i want to catch is a french movie at the picturehouse

i saw my results at 12am
not on purpose
it jus popped in front of me when i was printing my degree audit
i printed le then realised this sem results is also inside
eh, it was as good as it can get
considering i didnt finish both core papers properly
more of writing nonsense
except for forensic science =(
otherwise, the econs sub are like not bad
so still feel lucky
be contended
final semester
should i take more core sub?
seems like i can do better in these, and not those crappy electives
hmmm
wish everyone luck!
p/s: how ‘amazing’! my gpa inched up by like 0.019 *roll eyes*

the wise one brought me along to huiling & haoren’s on sat
x’mas party!
effort to the host for preparing the food and venue
we had like turkey, some i-dunno-what ham, ice-cream log cake, pasta (both cream and tomato base) & healthy veg!
of course also some sparkling juice and sparkline juice wine (?)
so they had gifts exchange and qisheng made a great choice by buying pictionary!
wah like cool!
ya, i didnt have present to exchange for cos’ the wise one apparently didnt know
anyway, skip to the main point

never knew the game can be so fun!
drew all sorts of nonsense
and some with special challenges, such as drawing with ur left hand (if right-handed & vice-versa), drawing the whole pic in 1 line, closing eyes to draw
and thus the great art-pieces are as follows:

ok, the answer is suppose to be kiwi fruit. claire tried to draw the cross-section of kiwi (the left one), the whole kiwi fruit (centre) and the kiwi bird (the chicken). but it turned out to look like chicken rice!! lol~
jingjing’s “sheep”! she is supposed to draw the word ’sheepdog’ in 1 line, so the sheep ended up looking like 1 cloud of mist? haha
huiling’s version of puppies! the dog-shit alike thingy is suppose to be puppies… so big dog and small dogs = puppies
funny thing is that when someone guess that the thing on the head is what the nuns wear, and jingjing nodded yes! hahahaha… when the answer is the wedding “veil”
octopus? qisheng says he had no time to draw all 8 legs… but dunno who so smart guessed that correctly!
i seriously thought it’s a strawberry! keez… the answer was “folding” so a folded shirt was drawn to illustrate that
june’s word was “travel”, so she tried to draw changi airport. her restriction was to draw everything in 1 line, so it ended up looking like UFO! hahhaha
i suddenly think board games are so fun!
after this, and settlers with the uni peeps

oh, and june was so sweet to have bought everyone presents =)

since waiting for mich to come now so might as well put in an entry
and yea! lunch is on mich today! hahah

anyway, poor us are doing fyp on x’mas eve
yessss totally running out of time

totally forgot about it until june reminded me on sat
it is like the last thing on my mind
i guess it is also the last thing on everyone’s mind
fyp really brain-washed us hahaha

met up with my jc babes before fr sets off for her bangkok holiday

anyway, we ended up eating crystal jade at taka again
it seems like that is always where we headed for when we are in town
town was horribly crowded
people doing x’mas shopping everywhere
crystal jade had a new menu, which i think it’s a good improvement
we had 盐水鸭 for starter; it was salty (duhs) but came with a fragrance of rice wine
then we decide to order a hot pot
it’s basically like a mini steamboat, with ingredients like veg, mushrooms, corn etc
the soup base literally left us licking our spoons
followed by main dish the fried rice and la-mian
nothing worth mentioning there, except the la-mian was HOT!
the cute auntie kept coming to our table to double-check if we really want the la-mian
cos she reckons it’s really spicy
and it was! luckily it was shared between the four of us *phew*
and fr surprisingly treated us! *hugs girl*
huimin was super craving for her green tea ice-cream
so we squeezed our way to lido
where we had the yummy meiji ice-cream (i had the choco flavour)
and that was kn’s treat! hahaha
finally bought fr her present (a brown bag), and kn scooted around isetan to top up the purchase to $50 so that she can exchange for a $5 vouchor
congrat to huimin for landing with a job that you liked!
but pls be careful okie?
i will be praying for you 
and super high huimin also took tons of pictures for us

settled at new york new york for dinner
after bazerinn disappeared from raffles city
(where on earth did it moved to again?)
was quite skeptical about the food
cos i have heard some extreme positive and extreme negative comments about the food
but it was a pleasant surprise!
we had the fried mushrooms and fiery buffalo wings for starters
the former was so-so, but the wings were really good!
but i wish they dont serve with the thick cheesy sauce
then i had algo olio, which was fried in extra generous serving of virgin olive oil, mushrooms and bacon bits
man, it was oily, but heng it’s healthy olive oil!
oily yet u dont really feel it while eating
just that when you reach the bottom of the plate, you will see 1cm thick of oil remaining
the wise one had the casear chicken pizza
for once, not hawaiian
the ingredients were fresh, and not stingy in amounts
almost chicken breast meat in every bit
and it really taste so healthy cos they use breast meat!
but the meat is so tender
dinner ended with unlimited amount of candyfloss
and yesterday was apple flavour!
yummy!
the wise one went for 2 servings before i stopped him
apparently he wanted more haha
and i’m glad that we went there early
cos by the time we leave, the queue was wow………………. long!

seriously, i’m really sick of this holidays totally
too many many things lined up!

tmr is a settlers date with the uni bunch
sat x’mas party at h3 (and it totally clash with kgrp chalet)
sun should be dropping by the chalet
and mon is x’mas eve le!
my calender is scribbed with stuff, latest appt being 4th jan

i wish for more time for myself
