ok, going to talk about my astronomy class again
i wondered why i was so guai to go for class today
when i was rushing between places
oh well, to make up for last week, which i SKIPped
i wanted to leave the momemt i sat down
no, not the lecturer’s fault
the things are really dry, and really, talking about it don’t interest me
BUT heng i stayed behind
cos’ 2nd half lecturer said he is lazy to talk and he thinks he is boring
so he decided to show us a video which summarises what he is going to teach!
lol. but seriously watching videos can learn more than his dry speech, only to be spiced up by occasional lame jokes
astronomy has amazed me again
which made me feel actually everyone of us are so small and insignificant compared to the galaxy
our problems and complains are like dust particles only
maybe someday the Earth will be swept away by solar wind
and everyone will just die in 1-2sec cos’ of the huge amount of energy given off
it’s super interesting to know how the first journey to the 4 giants, jupiter saturn uranus neptune, was made in the 1980s
and the fact that no one in our lifetime can programme something to visit them the last 2 again due to the super long distance
can you believe it that it took 5 years just to send the probe to neptune in 1986
and the probe is still travelling in the space now
attempting to reach another part of the outer space by 2015, when the energy in the probe runs out
do you know it was an intern who first discover that the visit to these 4 planets (~ 3 billion miles away) is possible when they align in the 1980s?
and that pictures/images of live on earth were pasted on the casing of the probe, in case the probe met some E.T.
and that neptune looks like another Earth, blue and with white clouds
this kind of documentaries can make me sit in front of bbc for hours!
i wish every class is like today’s!

didnt manage to buy anything at bugis
there are things to buy, but nothing make me ‘wow’ and get the i-must-get-it or fantastic piece
the whole place is like a mini platinum mall (cos’ all selling bkk clothes)
but at least bkk clothes dont repeat every 3 stalls
HK is still rules cos’ clothes dont repeat ;P
but i got myself a new board game!
fun fun fun
and then got drawn into some stupid thing
anyway, SETTLED (and hope it stays this way!!)
our lives are soooooooo happening
there is always something to update
is that good or bad??
yup, i smelled like an orange half the day today
new kind of perfume?

we might be getting a lot of that stuff later on
yesterday was friday
rocky pizza at sunset way =)
LOVE the food there
pizza was cheesy enough, but yet NOT salty
the wise one liked the crust
and i like the baked parmesan chicken
long walk at sunset way
the wise one showed me the unused rail road
and entertained me with his super juicy gossip
effort to accompany me even though he slept at 2am the day before
who says that meeting 1 evening per week will result in distance?
i think i just love the space that i’m getting
tuesday was badminton day
week THREE!! but coming week likely not playing
but meeting partner =)
so sadz that we are not taking any common class now
anyway, that day they just keep laughing at me
cos’ i have a 死角 on the court
they just keep hitting the damn ball there
*haiz* badminton is suppose to be fun, and not that draining
chalet committee meeting
well, it is gonna be very DIFFERENT this time round
so pls try to come =)
and now… let’s guess the 3 most hated letter in my dictionary now

that i made the trip to have dinner with you
that i didn’t have to wait till Sunday to see you
that you made me feel that you really missed me
that the 2 weeks apart made us even closer
that you still have the ‘big plan’ embedded inside your mind
i will never get tired of you, won’t i?
the evidence of my tiredness:
i slept all the way from harbourfront back to b.batok
i switched on the rice-cooker without pressing the ‘cook’ button, causing the rice to be half-cooked (the cooker was on ’stay warm’ mode)
i forgot to get my second helping of rice which i normally suppose to do
the cause:
long day yesterday and slept at 1+am
didn’t sleep well; waking up at intervals of every hour
yes, that’s why i know you slept at 3+am
dragged myself to bath and dress up for interview at 8am
well, interview was yet again like last time
met one of the previous interviewer, and he remembers me =)
and he said i looked different today =)
it was something i sorta promise him to do the last time
i guess it’s a 50-50 percent chance
but i really like the company culture
re-joined wenz at vivo
and barely finished combing the first floor of vivo from 12pm to 3pm
like those big brands
our motto is the same: just go straight for the sale racks
our conclusion is that dresses are out of season
which we wanted to buy and got none
and that the second floor got nothing nice
until we hit the last store of the day
and came out with another 2 big bags
wenz bought enough cny clothes to last her till next year
the gold skirt, the randomly disorganized tee, the grey skinny that is ‘weird’
but i didnt find any cny clothes i fancy
resisted the temptation of buying the not-very-expensive kate moss topshop jeans
and ended up with a black top that is like a jacket
i love to shop on weekdays
no queue at fitting rooms, and can hog the dressing rooms forever
no one elbowing you at the back to fight to the racks
and of course it is your company =)
yesterday was a particularly long day
first, the 930am breakfast became a 1030 affair
was waiting and waiting and waiting
but still thanks for the effort =)
altho the milk tea really sucks
at astro lecture, i dont understand a single thing
just dont let me fail this module
hurried down to toa payoh
i reached tpy in record time from school – 1h 15mins… by bus!!
took 5 different buses to reach there
what an achievement =)
first round of dinner at crystral jade with wenz, joy and hq
food wasnt fantastic
over-anticipated the prawn sauce chicken wings, and hence it tasted so-so to me
but our dear hq liked it so much that she order a second plate
after like 15mins of deliberations and a dozens of stares from us hahhaha
sadly to say, she never got to eat the second plate
cos’ the service simply took too long and we jus cancel the order
joy and hq was replaced by boyfriend at 8pm
we accompanied him for dinner at burger king
where i had my dessert – hersey’s chocolate pie
wah, the 卖相 is horrible, but heng the taste is still as good
though i find it too sweet for my liking
then we waited forever for bacteria kim to show up
dunno he lost his way or what
wanted to drive to somewhere else, but didnt want to waste his per entry parking
so ended up for third round of dinner – at swensens!
and on the way me and boyfriend simply ignore the crazy cries of gg ktv
had earthquake
guess what boyfriend is doing??
and the swensen’s banana split ice-cream is pink in colour!
bacteria was the only one who liked it
stayed till the waiters were all like waiting for us to leave so that they can go home
what a night of waiting and eating!
3 rounds!! all the badminton sessions and running are in vain *haiz*
but so happy to meet up with the guys =)
oh, and i bought hello kitty uno at $2 =)
super cute de lah
bacteria tried to buy it from me at $3 hahaha
sometimes, it’s just nice to meet up
even though only for that 1 to 2 hours
i went home a happy girl =)
p/s: my day ended doing mask with wenz, and i gave up waiting for her to go sleep

yes, i decided to stop the whining
and just get on with the damn fyp and school things
it’s all in the mind
the importance of will power, i.e. self-psycho-ing
well, i have been patiently doing my fyp for the last half an hour
at least it is a good start
