tmr is the day!
not very happy cos’ tmr have to wake up damn early haha
pls give me less traffic on the road
to conclude my holidays, the wise one and i decided to go ktv!
not suppose to take the car today
but alas, raining when we woke up
so car ride again!
i feel kinda bad contributing to air pollution
first time to clementi kbox, which i thought was quite good
though not very new
no queue when we reach
and they gave us a big big room (like for 5-6 pple de)
only that the toilet is erm quite scary haha
then the wise one drove down to chinatown to buy cheap body and face products
really super super crowded
as if those creams and shampoo and makeup are free
had a quick and early dinner after that
i like the duck and fish =)

today is friday! hahahaha
i love fridays… cos’ will get to see my silly boy =D
today is the last day of holiday
shall spend my time fruitfully with youtube and the sorts *grins*
was packing my storeroom yesterday
trying to stuff my jc and uni stuff in
out of so many subjects, GP took up most of the space!
i still have the weekly current affairs slips
the answers are damn hilarous
missing jc lessons =x
anyway, wed was huiqing’s birthday!
a great day! (give you some credit ya, hq? keez)
met up with joy also, and thanks for the choco =)
dinner with shi at coffee club
super delicious meal… really didnt expect their meals to be of such high standards
and the mud pie!!!
and then we spend the rest of the night bullying hq hahaha
oh ya, i realised many many frens are working in t.pagar
got lots of lunch kakis *excited*
ok, back to watching forensic heroes 2 *super addicted*

finally received my posting today!
after lots of changes and uncertainty
(long story… those who want to hear can ask me)
i was slightly disappointed by the disorganisation
and so… now i’m gg to be half-a-shenton-way-OL

the final week of holiday for me
this week had passed pretty fast
activities like facial, chalet meeting, shopping
almost done with shopping
at least i have got 1 weeks’ worth of pants and blouses to tide me through the 1st month while i search for more “interesting” office clothes
(dont dare to buy too much now cos’ i want to observe the dress code at office first)
but definitely i need to get more tops
and some facial products
lunch with boyfriend today!
we, being greedy and cheapo, jumped at the student deal at swensens
ordering a large sundae each
super super filling!
and boyfriend promised mj next week =)
sidenote: siaowen!! we coming to ur house when you are back k? overnight mj!!!!!!
and the other 1000pts boyfriend had been sweet enough to buy me coldrock ice-cream last night
my favourite apple pie filling =)
also acting as my chauffeur
to think this is the first week i’m taking public transport for the past month
thanks for the effort to try and spend more time with me, busy man!

The word “Shangri-La” was first mentioned in the novel Lost Horizon by James Hilton.
It simple represents a mystical and mystery place, a paradise.
There is eternal peace; people are contended and happy.
People began to search for such a place ever since.
In 1997, Shangri-La in Yunnan China finally won the right to use it as the name for the place.
Actually, Shangri-La could be anywhere.
You could call any place Shangri-La, as long as it is your paradise.
so where is the shangri-la in your heart?
mine? it is just whereever you are…

pictures from my yunnan trip
it’s spring over there… lots of flowers!
and we visited the 天龙八部影视城 in dali
the performances, with all the special effects… just like in the filming
the super nice 5* hotel in dali, 风花雪月大酒店 (what a name -.-)
off to lijiang!
forgot what is this place
lijiang 古城
shopping area + lots of eateries and bars along the streams
very relaxing
云南十八怪
they got lots of funny practices, due to the large number of minorities in the province
again, i forgot
but see the water is soooooo clear!!
印象丽江
a big outdoor show directed/choreographed by zhangyimou, against the background of lijiang’s famous 玉龙雪山
i think they must have a few hundred of people, and a hundred horses

supposed to be capped with snow all year round, except maybe for a short period in summer
蓝月谷
the cows there are different, not like the australia cows
they are called 牦牛
the chalet-style hotel we stayed in lijiang
4 families to stay in a bungalow, complete with a big living room and dining room
and there is a housekeeper to take care of all our needs in each!
she cooks our breakfast, cut our fruits, do our laundry etc

actually i’ve got few pictures of shangrila
cos’ we only spend half a day there
and weather is terribly cold
the 古城 in shangrila
yup, dont be surprised, there is a 古城 in every city
flew back to kunming from shangrila
九乡
it’s basically a place with lots of interesting rock-cave formation
my favourite place, 石林
过桥米线, one of the famous dish in yunnan
the soup has a layer of oil, keeping it boiling hot
and the way to eat it is to put in the raw meat, then the veg and finally the noodles
and we went flower plucking =)
super fun!
and we went peach plucking!
really fresh from the trees
and the owner of the farm told us that peaches on different trees taste differently
some sweeter than others, even though they are planted on the same plot of land
because they receive different amount of sunlight
so pluck one and eat it to decide if you want the peaches from that tree
left there with a stomach full of peaches
pluck, eat and pluck some more
and cant drink water within half an hour after eating peaches
gives you diahhroea it seems
mushroom steamboat
filled with special types of mushroom from yunnan
and off to the flower market
the flowers are super super super cheap can?
12 fresh roses for RMB1 dollar!!!
and guess how much is the large boquets with the ‘love’ arrangement?
less than RMB100!
guys have no excuses NOT to give flowers to girls in yunnan
*phew* finally finish doing up this post

the weather is super nice over there
less than 25degrees
and china is really not what it used to be
now, they have good systems and good security
only toilets needs to be improved
really, i insisted on not gg to roadside toilets
cos’ feedback from people after they went in is that they are of “2-star standard”
which is 恶心 hahaha
and a short update
i’m still slacking at home!
havent start work yet, due to i-dunno-why
well, it could be a good chance for me to rest more
and spend more time with him
